What are some ways a menopausal lazy lady can get more energy?!

Question: What are some ways a menopausal lazy lady can get more energy?
Even on the weekend I'm lazy. I'm not overwieght and I eat healthy. I've always been active, but this past year I'm happy sitting around, but feeling guilty. Is there any suggestions, herbs or motivational books or words of wisdom you can offer. I'm surely greatful for your suggestions.

First of all, ditch the guilt! This is excess baggage you don't need to carry around with you.
If you are happy sitting around and taking it easy, there is no problem with that. That is not being lazy in my opinion. Taking things easy is good for a person, especially in today's world with all its demands and pressures. Let go of the "shoulds" and "oughts", and go with your own natural rhythm.

If you find you are having trouble attending to the housework and chores, maybe drawing up a time table for yourself might work.

Fatigue is a common symptom of menopause. Are you getting enough sleep, and is it high quality sleep? Have you had your thyroid checked? Low thyroid is very common in menopausal women and some of the symptoms are the same. What you eat can also have a huge impact on your energy levels.

I developed some food sensitivities during peri menopause and one of the symptoms was fatigue. Stay away from energy drinks - they are full of unhealthy ingredients. Try Eleuthro capsules by Oregon's Wild Harvest - they are Siberian ginseng and help your body adapt to stress. It will also give you more energy, Do not compromise on this product - there are hundreds of "ginseng" products on the market that either have no ginseng (or Siberian ginseng), or don't have enough to do anything for you.

Studied herbal medicine, personal experience with fatigue during menopausal transition. For more info, see http://www.natural-approaches-to-menopau…

Well I found alot of hope reading "Power of a Praying Woman"...It helped me understand just how powerful prayer is. I'm not yet menopausal (am 43 yrs. old) but headed that way.
Plus eating a variety of raw veggies, drinking lots of filtered water, and exercising (20 min cardio) daily has helped alot too.
I do interval cardio meaning 1 1/2 min. elliptical or you can go for a fast pace walk. and then go as fast as I can on elliptical for 30 seconds and then back to normal pace for 1 1/2 min. and again fast pace for 30 seconds. I do that up to 20 min. and I see way better results than doing elliptical at a normal pace for 1 hr.
Have also been getting into juicing and making smoothies for better health...Hope some suggestions will help :)

It's paradoxical but the more phyiscally active you are the more energy you get. Just going for a half hour walk can do it for some people. Feeling guilty is unproductive. You don't have to live up to anyone else's expectations/judgments. Some days everyone feels like their "get up and go" got up and went...

If you're not overweight you're better off than I am. For me, I have to FORCE myself to get started.
I have to make myself exercise to begin with and then the energy just comes. For some reason you feel better about yourself (or I do).

I'm menopausal and lazy myself. I'm also very overweight.

Search Rejuvinator by IVL and is great for energy
