Question: My friend has a 4 yr history of overdose, this is not a troll question,?
----IMPORTANT PLEASE READ DETAIL BEFORE ANSWERING---
she's been suicidal her whole life she has a long history of OD on muscle relaxants, she took 100 pain pills in 2 day's she never went to the hospital for any of the overdoses, in the past 4yrs she's OD the least 50 time's on her pain pill called soma but has never told anyone but me, i know she's done it, she learned how to make chloroform & inhales it she claims the chloroform is more of a addiction, she has overdosed on her pain pills soma for 4 years straight & has used the chloroform for 2 yrs, i know she's no attention seeker cuz i've seen the proof & i'm the only person she knows who she's told about it, so what i want to know is she's having stomach pains headache back pains {back pain is related to kidney failure} she has been having chest pain is tired all the time she said it's hard to wake up & keeps coughing up clear mucus, she said she thinks she caused some organ damage, she told me she could have kidney failure or congested heart failure & she has googled the symptoms of both & said the symptoms fit, so anyone whose a nurse or dr or who might know whats wrong is this some kinda organ failure from the medicine overdoses?, i'm no dr but i'm worried for her she is my friend, anyone who can tell me what this could be? i'm worried for her she's not worried about whats going on she wont go to a dr she doesn't trust them she doesn't wanna go to a dr & say well i took all these overdoses & that's why i feel like this i can't tell her to stop cuz she said if i do she will hate me if i do.

It is completely unrealistic to guess what is causing your friends problems and if chronic toxicity from Soma (carisoprodol) is to blame.

I will tell you that just because your friend thinks she may have caused organ damage does not mean that is true. She needs a proper medical evaluation especially if she has significant medical problems.

You should also keep a few things in mind- Soma (carisoprodol) is a muscle relaxant that acts as a central nervous system (CNS) depressant and can lead to reduced anxiety, loss of inhibition, apathy, depression, suicide attempt, suicidal ideation, amnesia along with other effects.

The Soma could be the reason your friend is not acting worried or concerned about her problems and the Soma may be a large part of the reason for depression and suicide attempts. Soma is also a substance that can cause physical dependence and/or addiction and some of the issues may be a result of Soma abuse.

I understand that you are in a bad situation and you want your friend to get help but you don't want to upset her by trying to get her some help. What is boils down to is this- in the worst case situation would you rather your friend be alive and hate you or would you rather to continue to protect her and put her life at risk?

You really need to try to at least convince her to be honest with her doctors and tell them about the dozens of suicide attempts and chloroform use. Attempting suicide is not something that should be brushed off, it indicates a significant problem. And things like making and abusing chloroform is dangerous, potentially indicative of psychiatric illness, and can cause severe toxicity. There is a reason chloroform is not used any more- it is extremely dangerous. I would say chloroform abuse is more likely to be the cause of major medical problems and it is well established that chloroform can cause hepatotoxicity (liver damage, degeneration, necrosis) and nephrotoxicity (kidney damage). High concentrations can be "immediately dangerous to life or health." Chronic use can also cause complications due to the fact chloroform is metabolized by the liver and forms phosgene, a highly insidious toxin that has been used in chemical warfare and is the primary cause of liver and kidney damage.

If she does not get help one way or another she will very likely have major problems

Chloroform Chronic Toxicity Summary

Of course its the drugs.
Your friend is gone man. Drugs got her.
The only thing that can save her is narcotics anonymous or alcoholics anonymous. Nothing else will work at that point.

Druggy

Test if your freind is human.

Tell her she will die if she doesnt

tell her to check out www.addictsfriend.com

If your friend will not see a doctor then she is going to Die and the likely hood is she is going to die even if she does see one with what she has been doing to herself and the pain will get worse. She probably needs a psychiatrist as well. If she has really been doing this stuff how come her folks other friends teachers haven't noticed. Get her to a DOCTOR or loose her
