Ear infection remedies ?!

Question: Ear infection remedies ?
My mom has been in severe pain. She went to the doctor but they said that she has to wait 3 weeks before they do anything. I don't know for a fact that it's an ear infection. But from the pain that she's in, that's what I'm thinking. Does anyone know any pills, or ways to make it stop hurting ? Or calm the pain?

This may sound strange, but the best ear infection remedy that I know of is garlic oil. Garlic has wonderful anti-viral properties, and is a great remedy for many illnesses. I have used garlic oil on my one year old daughter, and her ear infection cleared up within 2 days. If it is gentle enough for a one year old, then I am sure it would be safe and effective for an adult as well.

I make garlic oil by mincing 2-3 cloves of garlic, then cover with about 4-5 tablespoons of olive oil. Heat in a small saucepan on LOW heat for about 20-25 minutes. Make sure the garlic does not burn in the saucepan. Strain out the garlic and pour oil into a small container (make sure there are no garlic pieces left in the oil). Wait until the oil has cooled completely. Use a dropper to administer 1-2 drops of garlic oil into the ear. You may want to have your mom lay on her side while you put drops in her ear so it doesn't run out. Do this to each ear about 3 times a day for 3 full days. Your mom should start to feel significant improvement after only a couple of days.

IMPORTANT: If you see any liquid or pus draining out of the ear, DO NOT PUT ANY OF THE ABOVE DROPS INTO THE EAR. She should wait to see the doctor, as this can be a sign of a more significant problem.

I hope this can provide your mom with some relief. Check out this page for some more info. It is geared toward children, but the info still pertains to all ear infections: http://www.askdrsears.com/html/8/t081600…
