My understanding is that NDs are not currently regulated by legislation in Florida. They're still governed by the profession, though. So all NDs that are registered with the AANP will have graduated from an accredited naturopathic medical institution, and passed several levels of basic and clinical knowledge AND practical competency exams.
I'd suggest that you find a qualified ND in your area and have a consultation. Good luck!

The industry is rife with fraud, scams and quackery. I warn you now - do you homework first and seek the evidence. For example, homeopathy is WATER and SUGAR PILLS - no active ingredients and it has NEVER been shown to work for ANY condition after many robust clinical trials. People die unnecessarily going this route.
