i am looking for a home remedy for cleansing the body. i don't want to spend $ at GNC or any of those places, I'd rather do something natural that people have been doing for decades. Any advice is appreciated.

You could try doing a fast which gives the body a rest and people have been doing this for years. Everything from just water to water and broth to water and etc. Look up variations.
You can also look up home body detox on Google. There are plenty of herbs you can take that are beneficial.
Pooping and peeing have stood the test of time. It won't cost you anything and it's all natural.
Your body doesn't need help cleaning itself, and if it did, there's no evidence that any "remedy" or product will assist you in that regard.
