Probiotics become active when they hit human body temperature. Probiotics hibernate in the cold, otherwise they wake up, start multiplying and soon run out of space and food. They are all the same, completely ineffective. It is a lie of the Alt Med industry that one can "boost your immune system." If you could it would just cause an auto-immune disease like MS or Lupus, not help you be healthier. Of course, there is also the fact that probiotics are a big scam product. Most of them contain a bacteria that, while harmless, is not naturally occurring in the human body. One study found that 25% of all probiotics sold had dead bacteria in them, not live. So even if this worked, which it doesn't, the products are still a big scam.
