This whole acai berry thing is a scam. Acai berries don't have any more antioxidants in them than regular blueberries or raspberries. A diet high in antioxidant foods can HELP you lose weight. Not just make you lose weight. That is the big lie these con artists are selling.
The "cleanse" tablets probably contain nothing more than psyllium husk powder to help you poop more. This can deplete healthy bacteria and enzymes in the digestive system. And you can buy a quart jar of it for $10 at the grocery, not 60 tablets. Do you think if any of this stuff really worked we would have a $50 billion industry in so many different products?
None of these weight loss supplements guarantee anything unless you establish a healthy diet and exercise program. See the website where you bought your products.
***So why not just establish a healthy diet and exercise program and keep your money?***
You are spending somewhere between $2 and $4 per day on a product that is not approved or guaranteed to do anything!
The only weight loss supplement I recommend is a basic multivitamin.
Don't be surprised if some outrageous charges hit your debit/credit card. Go to the terms and conditions at the website you bought this junk at. You will see you signed up for an "auto ship" program and you will be sent more product at $50,$80 or $150 per month! Some people have to cancel their credit or debit cards just to get the automatic payment stopped.
That kind of money pays for a great gym membership.
Good Luck.

The only reason you haven't passed anything yet is it still takes around 24 hours for anything to get through the system.
But just wait. When it starts don't stray too far from the bathroom.

Unfortunately the whole concept of detox is an urban myth. It is based solely on the irrational rants of constipated Edwardians who refused to eat vegetables as the considered them food only fit for the lower classes to consume. As a result they had little option but to spend their time taking laxatives and purgatives and giving themselves enemas. Provided you have not already done too much damage to your body, your liver and kidneys will deal with problem of removing toxins from your body, as that was what they were designed to do. After that, tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your life and you can start afresh.

GP for more years than I care to remember

Throw them in the trash, that's where they belong. Your body has evolved to get rid of unwanted substances very efficiently and naturally via the liver and kidneys. You cannot improve on that function without medical assistance, say in the case of poisoning. 'Detox' has no meaning outside of the clinical treatment of drug addiction or poisoning - it's a big world out there with scams and ripoffs everywhere; alternative medicine is ridden with them - colon cleansing and acai are classic examples.

You fail instantly by asking a question about something you have tried and have no knowledge of.

I call BS and say you're asking this question just for fun. No one can be that stupid as to take a pill/s and then ask questions about the said pills after!

Colon cleanse pills are a well known scam. Listen to the doctor, not someone who gets their health information from a telly programme!

Unless you have renal or liver failure, your body does not have toxins in it.

The body is a pretty amazing and complex creation. It has several organs that help remove toxins and waste from it, such as kidney, liver and intestines.

It is a load of rubbish that the colon contains dried up fecal matter that gets stuck and releases toxins. The only time fecal matter gets truly stuck is with a condition called diverticulitis, which needs to be managed medically.

I've had a look at the ingredients in the Super Colon Cleanse capsules, and this is what it contains:
uper Colon Cleanse is comprised of the following ingredients:

* Psyllium Husk Powder
* Senna
* Fennel Seed
* Peppermint
* Papaya
* Buckthorn Bark
* Oregon Grape Root
* Celery
* Milk-Free Acidophilus

Psyllium husk is a stool bulker. It attracts water to feces so they are easier to pass. Senna is potentially habit forming laxative. Fennel can help with gas. Papaya is another laxative.

So all you are taking are laxatives. The makers of this product claim you will have 2-3 bowel motions per day. I am sure you would, taking so many laxatives. By inducing diarrhea or this many motions, you risk malabsorption of vital nutrients and water. There is a reason it takes time for food to pass through the bowel. It's called digestion.

Your colon is problably really impacted with feces. While doing the cleanse you will need to eliminate some foods from your diet such as bread, dairy products and meats until you get the desired effect.You will need to drink juices, eat raw vegetables such as salads and eat friuts...no bananas.

Answer is if you don't eat you don't **** lol. Great UK television series called spa of embarrassing illnesses shows the evidence that detoxing not only works but cures the so called "incurable" diseases. Check it out for yourself >>> http://www.amandahamilton.co.uk/success-…
