nobody is a natural drinker lol... But you just handle it better.. I am 5 1 and 115 and I have 5 drinks and I'm smashed but don't get sick my sister is about the same and depending on what she drinks she can drink all night and not feel anything and my brother is the same way. You can just handle it better then some... But no you aren't born to be a drunk lol that's fuumy.

It's more to do with your state of mind than it does genes. And not "feeling" drunk doesn't mean that you are not. We're marvelously good at denial and false bravado under the influence of alcohol.

Hangovers are a little different. I honestly think the internal "cleanup" varies from person to person and can be genetically determined. ALso, the alcohol you're drinking can make a difference. I know cheap beer is way rougher on me than a quality spirit, even if I drink twice the spirits.

Yes, it can and probably is part of your genes. Not only is your dad an alcoholic and passing his genes to you, but you have German and Irish geneses which are also more prone to drinking and alcoholism. So, don't drink or drink in moderation as you are much more likely to become an alcoholic.

I used to be able to drink that like too - there is a reason why alcoholics are alcoholics - they are bodily and mentally different than their fellows.

Take it for what it's worth, from one.

One of the lucky ones who was able to set it down.

I know other people who are like you. Some people have an extremely high tolerance level to Drugs and alcohol.

Be aware that you may need extra novocaine when having dental work done. Don't be afraid to ask for it! Good luck.....

Some people process alcohol much better than others.
You are just lucky, or unlucky, depending on your point of view.
