What other treatments can I use? Really need help :(?!

Question: What other treatments can I use? Really need help :(?
Last year I was very ill with these symptoms: Fatigue
Body aches
Headaches
Vomiting

I also had to throw up every time I ate or felt sick when I did eat. I had blood tests for it, for diabetes, thyroid, anemia and antibodies (or something, I don't remember) and they found nothing that could cause my illness.

But it has come back again over christmas, and I'm basically on an all water diet - my doctor says this can keep my fatigue away and flushes out the toxins that are causing my stomach aches and headaches. It doesn't really work, and when I do force myself to eat it's just cabbage, peas and bananas mostly.

Is there anything else I can try? I have important exams in a few months and if I'm ill for the whole time I need to study it might effect my grades.

A chronic issue like this needs to be dealt with by a holistic health professional such as a Homeopath or Naturopath. It's very common for conventional medicine to run people through a barrage of tests and have "nothing" turn up, but the person is still obviously ill.
In the meantime it might be a good idea to get a quality juicer and drink all the fresh made vegetable juice you can handle. There's a big difference between freshly made juice and the "dead" juice you buy in bottles. Many people have reported a dramatic turnaround following this protocol. Taking a good quality probiotic supplement and daily doses of 5000iu of vitamin D3 are excellent additions.

I would personally get a second opinion. I can't imagine a doctor saying ok to a mostly all water diet and not have more tests and advice or send you to a specialist. Can you maybe add some chicken broth, juice (fruit or veg) that is cut so it's 1/2 juice and 1/2 water, liquid vitamins (good vitamin link below)?

I really can't offer more than saying you should get a second opinion.

nerve interference may well be the source of the problem. no physical examination is complete without checking for it, but medics are generally clueless as to it's existence, much less how to deal with it. see an hio method upper cervical specific chiropractor.

Hi Liane,

One thing you could consider as the cause is accumulated stress. The effects can be different for different people. But the impact can be horrendous.

I've been there. A couple of things that helped relieve the problem: from a Homeopath, drops for energy (can't remember the name, but it began with "S"), and for relieving the stress, drops from a Naturopath containing Passiflora and Valerian.

As for your diet, try adding chick peas. They are very mild, and will give you both protein and carbohydrates. The Naturopath might give you some other suggestions for food that you can keep down and that will give you more nutrients. Otherwise, it will be difficult for you to improve your health on that minimal diet.

As for the water you are drinking, change over to boiled water, and drink it within 3-4 hours. This will help absorption of the water.

If you are prepared to try something very different, find someone who administers Qi Gong therapy. It is great for fatigue, amongst other things.

Good luck!

maybe try oatmeal.. broths and maybe a few crackers in the broth? My aunt had similar probelms suoer fatigue weak couldn't eat achy and the drs just kinda sent her home and said as long as you can drink liquids that's okay.... So she wouldn't get dehydrated but then they finally found her cancer and it was to late... I'm not saying you have that but it seems like if you don't go in after researching symptoms and telling them what you think you have then they won't know either.. I was treated for asthma for a year and I finally figured out it was my galbladder after talking to my mom she had the same problem and had hers removed and I went in and said test this and it mine was working at less then 20 % which is toxic and I had to have an emergency surgery.... Anyway goood luck and get a different opinion! Drs get paid more to do tests and give you medicine it doesn't seem like there is to many good ones out there anymore
