Will it hurt: It's probably being done by an unqualified, 'beauty' worker, rather than a nurse or similar. Have they been trained to ram objects up there? Probably not, so there's a real risk of damage.

Will you lose any weight: Apart from a few ounces of poop that was going to come out next toilet break? Absolutely not.

No you don't lose weight as in fat, only the contents of your lower bowel. You do not have compacted fecal matter in there that needs removing, and you risk gastrointestinal perforation and infection. You will disrupt the balance between the good bacteria and natural chemicals in your bowel.
