Question: Exactly what are omega 3, 6, & 9 good for? 10 pts?
Answers:

They are called essential fatty acids because they are used by every single cell in the body. Say that again with me "every single cell in the body". So, the answer to your question, is 'everything'. Really :)

If you want to know something more specific, post some details. I'll try to remember to take a look back tonight.

Oh, and the omega three Docosahexaenoic acid IS the fat the grey matter in your brain is made from (EPA would be the white matter) - - but those fats make up the phospholipi membranes of many types of cells throughout the body.

They are good for the brain. Their chemical structure is similar to the brain's gray matter.
