What organic sleeping pill/aid works best?!

Question: What organic sleeping pill/aid works best?
I have had a lot of trouble falling and staying asleep over the past month. What is my best and most affordable option in terms of sleeping pills. I've had friends that have abused Nyquil to fall asleep, but this doesn't seem like a very safe option. I'm interested in finding a "natural" solution to my problem, but also something that I won't become addicted to in the long run. If anyone can recommend something, that would be great!

If you're set on a natural or organic solution, then I would suggest something called saranight sleep aid. I suggested it to my roommate for the month prior to finals, and she loved it. I know that R.E.M. sleep is when your brain is truly resting (this is when you're dreaming most), and the added supplements help you reach this state. Good luck!

Go to a Naturopath and get Passiflora drops with some Valerian. You take them a few times towards the end of the day and before bed. They help you relax to get to sleep and also stay asleep. The effect is cummulative so eventually you no longer need it.

I had the same problem and this worked wonderfully. It's not as immediate as some things, but it is the best solutionin the long run. Neither are addictive.

Your problem is probably due to stress, which is why these products work. To aid in the long run with stress management, I highly recommend yoga and meditation. They are brilliant for keeping stress under control.

Look for a product that contains or combines GABA, Valerian, Melatonin. Drink a cup of warm chamomile tea before bed and use Lavendar as aromatherapy, they make a nightime spray for your bed that's incredibly nice. The bedroom should be used only for sleep and sex, no TV or reading or anything.
I hope you find sweet dreams!

Have you heard of Vemma PM? It is a nighttime dietary supplement that helps with occasional sleeplessness. I have included a link below if you are interested in learning more.

I use the product.

Rubbing lavender essential oil on neck and wrists may help.

Drinking some Lavender tea may also help.

Try some hot chocolate and soft music. Don't take the days troubles to bed with you.
