Green Tea and Herbal Tea are two different teas. Green Tea can be made by loose leaves or a tea bag. Green Tea is a powerful antioxidant and great for a cold. It can help your cold by giving you a boost of vitamins C and boosting your immune system. Just one cup of green tea has more antioxidants than a serving of broccoli, spinach, carrots, or strawberries.

Both are different. Green tea is the popular and common one we drink every day in China, while herbal tea is not only a kind of tea but of medicinal effect. The latter is often used to treat many diseases like soar throat.

Green Tea is an herb. Herbs are medicinal so each one has a purpose.
For a cold you may like peppermint. It's calming and helps your stomach to settle down. Lemon is great because it helps to cleans the body. Those are pretty common ones. Honey is anti bacterial and anticeptic so you may want to add to the tea or have a teaspoon by itself.
If your sinuses are blocked you may want to heat some water and put a pinch of sea salt in it and snort it into your nose. Sound bad, works well. lol
