Yes, Benicar can be prescribed for high blood pressure and in some cases it treats heart failure. There are reports from some people that it has caused panic attacks. I don't know about it helping panic attacks, usually that is completely different type of mechanism the drug would be utilized with panic attacks. Check out the web site below.
