What kind of pills/legal herbs/"alternative medicine" make people happ!

Question: What kind of pills/legal herbs/"alternative medicine" make people happy and energised?
Stuff you can buy from health food shops or over the counter hopefully.
And legal too.

Answers:

Things you can get at health food stores:
-kava (aka kava-kava) root, has a sort of alcoholy feeling, and if you take it at night, an energetic happy feeling the next day, also, soaking the kava root in milk for a few hours (the longer the better) then making a concoction of half kava milk and half coffee is VERY euphoric and uplifting
-catnip flowers, organic especially, smoke a few bowls creates an energetic "cannabis-style" sensation I swear by! making tea with it also works but it seems to have a more sedative (sleepy) quality (this IS legal, safe, minus the health drawbacks of smoking, effective and legal, 2-3 "joints" or pipe refills is my recommended dose)
-nutmeg (do not exceed one ground nut, half of one on first time) in coffee (very different from straight nutmeg)
-yerba mate, an energizing and healthy herbal tea from south America
-hops, like calm marijuana, eat it, make tea with it, or smoke it (fret not, despite my description, this is legal, safe, and at your local health food store)
-green tea is a famous one
-cacao (cocoa)- natural chocolate has minute amounts of energetic euphorants and caffiene

At herb shoppes, there are additionally:
-Mugwort, a chewable, smokeable or tea brewable herb, (caution: this has a slight psychedelic edge, no hallucinations or anything, but it may make you feel a little spacy) sometimes sold at head shops
-gotu Kola- not very familliar with this one, but apparently it's relaxing
-Kola nut- Cacao's super twin! has about 20 times the amounts of the same euphorants as cacao and twice to three times the caffiene of coffee, which means that you should use it lightly and avoid it if you have sensitivity to caffiene
Internet and/or head shoppes
-Blue lotus
-Kratom, similar to a semi-moderate stimulant with opium feeling euphorics with under 2 gram doses, (warning: addiction and tolerance are probable with more than weekly uses) also available in pills from some suppliers
-*Salvia Divinorum leaf, in small quanities (quarter to half a gram chewed, eigth to a quarter gram smoked) are euphoric and somewhat stimulant like effect (warning, although not addictive, tolerance lowers with frequent use, eventual lowering of dose will be needed in order to avoid hallucinogenic effects, if that is desired)

Hope this answered your question

We are on this road now:
Escape.
Escape takes many forms

*Medicines
*Drugs
*Fun trips
*Psychologist
*Psychiatrist
*Doctor
*Philosophy
*Religion
*Yoga, guru, pranayama etc
*meditation
*Aversion therapy
*Watching TV/films/comedy
*Having sex for pleasure
*Jumping out of planes
*the list is endless

The escape maintains the prison. There is no escape, no hope. How does that feel: can you remain with that nameless feeling? What would happen if you did, how there be a finding out? Are you going to imagine using conjecture & speculation: or try it?

depends what sort of rush youre after...doesnt it?

my missus drinks no6 Java... she can do a 8 cup brew...in one mug, its like the best amphetamine in the world... its does more than kickstart the day...

and theres a huge 3 course, with desert and a snifter or three of a good 12yr old Malt... its certainly puts me to sleep...

dude, its a state of mind, chemicals, and other assorted crap yes, i cant deny, they work, but, at what cost, and, for how long? i'm English, and trust me, the power of a good brew works wonders.. the rest, is entirely upto you. (and for a really good kick, try chinese gunpowder tea.)
