Question: Where to buy brewer's yeast in the USA?
all the brewer's yeast that I found was for dogs..
does it need a prescription ? I think no..
and please what is the best company for brewer's yeast that you had tried..

Just about every independent health food store sells it. It doesn't make any difference if it's advertised for dogs, it's the same product. You can buy glucosamine supplements at a regular health food store and give them to your dog... same substance.

GNC stores will sell that because their sister company in the UK (Holland & Barrett) sell it. If you want powder you will be better off buying debittered brewer's yeast which you can sprinkle on food and add to drinks...otherwise just ordinary brewer's yeast tablets will do if you just want to swallow the tablets whole. Brewer's yeast is a little bitter which you would taste if you crush the tablets to add to food or drinks.
Many pharmacies should also stock it but most likely the tablets only.

Try your local home-brewing shop, they will have tons of the stuff
