Question: Am i going to have bad withdrawal from xanax?
i've been taking xanax for 6-7 months.
i am not prescribed to them please no bible smashing about how i should be prescribed by a doctor, to late now.
i have been with a half a bar for about 6-7 months. how can i stop cold turkey? I don't want to stop completely because than I will not be able to sleep...i have tried to stop for 2 nights and the insomnia was to much to for me and it triggered panic attacks.
how can i wean myself off slowly without bad reactions? is it even possible. I can't believe i've gotten myself this messed up.

Do not stop cold turkey. Withdrawal from benzos like xanax can be very bad, possibly causing seizures. A lot of the information you need to taper off of benzos is here: http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/showthread.ph…
