As long as your doctor has diagnosed you as being deficient on DHEA (through blood tests would be the most accurate way), taking it supplementally would be one of the easiest ways to get what you're missing (same with most other basic nutrients). If your blood test showed that you were deficient, you should be able to ask the doctor how much you should take supplementally to get "back to normal". Good luck and I hope I helped!
