Has anyone tried homeopathy for a child with cerebral palsy?!

Homeopathy will be of zero benefit I'm afraid. Homeopaths, especially in this forum, claim they can cure anything and everything. However in reality homeopathy has NEVER been shown to work for any condition, because it is nothing but WATER or SUGAR PILLS.... homeopathy contains no active ingredients.

Once you look into it you see that homeopathy is absurd nonsense, based on superstitious beliefs - like the more you dilute something, the more potent it becomes. For example, a typical homeopathic 30C potency means a dilution ratio of 10 to the power of 60, about equivalent to 1ml in 1.2 million cubic light years! It will not contain one single molecule of the original ingredient, so it cannot possibly have any physiological effect.

Remedies are selected based on your symptoms; homeopaths believe that ‘like cures like’, so if you have insomnia for example, homeopaths will often give you a remedy made from Coffea, which is made from the coffee bean. It seems they think that recreating the symptoms empowers your body’s ‘vital force’ to expel disease. This concept lacks any scientific basis or supporting factual evidence.

Not surprisingly, homeopathy has NO good evidence of efficacy. It has never been shown in rigorous studies to have an effect beyond placebo. In the UK, Government health system funding of homeopathy is being withdrawn as homeopathic clinics and hospitals are closing. The country's largest pharmacy retailer has admitted it doesn't work and scientists have called it witchcraft.

Dear Mindy, MY heart goes out to you and your son and the challenge you face, but I firmly believe that there is much you can do to help your son through homeopathy. I have used it for years for myself and my animals and have seen amazing results.

Long before I knew homeopathy existed, my daughter was born with Cystic Fibrosis. As the old saying goes, "If I knew then what I know now" our lives would have been very different.

Let me suggest that you contact one of the large, well established homeopathic pharmacies for information about professional homeopaths in your area. For instance, Hyland's and TX Options have places on their websites with that and much other information. They are sources you can trust. And, no, I don't work for them, I just use their reliable products.
