Are the pills making me feel like this? Please help me!?!

Question: Are the pills making me feel like this? Please help me!?
Hello,
Last month I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). I was put on the duloxetine medication 30mlg for a month. They did help me allot until I ran out. I went back to see my GP and now he has put me on 60mgl, double my previous dosage. And since taking them yesterday i've noticed i've become a little more tired during the day, my thyroid gland keeps acting up and i've come into a state where I was to be a little bit of a recluse. I'm 18 if that's any help.

I don't want to be around my friends and the slightest thing irritates me. I'm feeling very down at the moment and I have allot of work I need to be getting on with in school, any tips? And is it the pills making me feel like this? thanks

Get a second opinion from another doctor. There seemed to be no reason to double your dosage. Maybe another doctor might offer some other things to try before medicating.

There are some good herbs and supplements for anxiety such as vitamin c (1-2 grams daily), magnesium, holy basil and passion flower. Ashwagandha seems good too :)

Might be a good alternative to meds! The only one there that lowers thyroid function is passion flower, but you could always offset that with iodine or a product like NOW Thyroid Energy. Hope that helps!

Mike!

I have anxiety too :(

Cut your dose back and when you call the doctor, explain the symptoms and that you preferred the original 30mg dose.

Is this a way of making fun of Michael Jackson???
You're right...you do need help!!!

Well break the pill in half and take it.

kill the doctor and take vit D and fish oil
