It works great for making beer, but other than that I think it might have a very mild calming effect, but nothing psychotropic. Hops hash comes from lupulin, the resin of the hop cone. It is the most potent part of the hop and the hash is condensed lupulin. It occurs naturally in huge parcels of hops and in the machinery used to harvest the hops. Unless you are talking about something else.
