Question: How do you make gelatin with raw natural ingredients?
I want to know how to make gelatin with raw natural ingredients that you can find in nature, rather than with gelatin you can purchase in a store. I'm looking to create an agar like medium, and need a gelatinous substance like the one that is derived from the red and blue algae that is commonly used in agar.
If you could tell me how to derive gelatin from algae or seaweed or other products that would be awesome!
I mean, gelatin has to come from somewhere right? It doesn't just appear in boxes in grocery stores.
