Are herbal detox teas legit or quacks?!

Question: Are herbal detox teas legit or quacks?
They have ingredients like dandelion root, milk thistle, sarsaparilla root, burdock root, red clover, chicory root, and rosehips. Do these ingredients actually detox you? And are they bioavailable as a tea infusion? Or are they just marketing gimmicks.

They, like all detox products, are a complete scam designed to cheat you out of your money. Don't buy that quackery. Don't listen to liars like Mr. E either.

I would not recommend that you do a detox tea with that many herbs in it, for several reasons:
Herbs are medicines: just like it is not always safe to take Rx drugs together, it is not always safe to take Herbs together.
If you have an allergic reaction, it would be difficult to distinguish which herb caused the allergic reaction.
Herbs are not regulated by the FDA: therefore, you don't know exactly what you are taking

I do support the use of Herbs under the care of a Qualified Healthcare Practitioner, who is very familiar with herbs and their possible side effects.

they're legitimate. naturally, allopaths will say they are useless because keeping people sick sustains their profits. (william is lying again, so beware. he's mad because his "consultant" check from the drug company is late).

"Detoxing" is itself a scam.
