Question: IS IT RIGHT THAT HOSPITALS ARE DISCIPLINING NURSES FOR BEING SICK ?
Is it just me who thinks this is wrong; & is money being put before Health .....

I would entertain the thought that it is aimed at nurses taking too many sick days ..

Hospitals are already full of germs just because it is full of SICK people. Everybody knows that.
There is a shortage of nurses and I feel sorry for you guys that you are not being paid much and have long hours.
Unlike the docs, surgeons who never get sick for some reason but then they are very well paid.
I suspect that some of you feel that by taking sick days you kind of "balance" pay and holidays.
I have people in the medical field in my family and they are rarely sick. Why ? Because they are exposed everyday to sick patients so this builds their immune system.
It is a tough economy now. Hardly anybody dares to take sick leave anywhere, in any fields. Some do not dare even take their paid holiday vacations for fear they will be fired and work overload.
