Can marijuana induce hallucinations?!

Question: Can marijuana induce hallucinations?

I have heard that marijuana in high dosages can induce hallucinations, is this true? If so, around how much would one have to consume in order to induce them? This is for a school project

Yes it can but its rare. I know that it never happens under like 10 hits (unless you REALLY CANT hold your smoke or its your first time smoking)

Higher doses and/or potency marijuana can cause perceptual distortions, but not true hallucinations. Vision may get wavy or murky, but the user will not see things that are not there.
