Does white tea cure illness?!

Question: Does white tea cure illness?
Whenever I'm sick, I always drink white tea. I drink about 18oz. And about 12 hours later, I'm always well again. I'm wondering if it's really the white tea doing this, or if it's all in my head. I know that white tea contains antioxidants, but could they really work that fast? Thx.

Answers:

Since white tea undergoes the least amount of processing amongst all the types of tea, it is said to pack the most amount of antioxidants, greater even than the much-vaunted green tea.

Its antioxidant content may help ensure that your system is robust enough to fight the onset of viruses and bacteria that cause diseases.

Having said that, I would think that white tea is better viewed as a preventative rather than as a curative.
