No, they are BAD for society. They take you money and offer no health benefit. They can kill or steal precious time if they are replacing proper medicine.

Unlike vaccination which is probably the greatest achievement for society ever produced by modern medicine. Vaccination has saved countless lives and has completely eradicated diseases including smallpox and rinderpest. Its not perfect, but at least it WORKS.

Of course not. It's like you're asking "Are charlatans who fool people into giving them money for fake diagnoses and fake treatments good for society?"

they are as good to society as fortune tellers

Scammers giving false hope to the dying while taking their money? Not what I'd call a 'good' thing.

Quack doctors like the one who gave twin girls vaccinations -- the first child went into shock and died, and the MD just went ahead and vaccinated the second girl who promptly went into shock and died? This happened last week right in front of the protesting parents. The doctor disappeared.
Quack medical doctors who continue prescribing drugs that have been linked to serious adverse effects?
Quack medical doctors who kill about half a million people every year?
No, I don't think they're good for society. Too bad there's a medical monopoly that protects them.

quacks who occupy themselves trying to cover up symptoms of disease with toxic chemicals are the leading cause of death. no, they are not good for society.
