If you have a cold it can produce more snot in your nose and more congestion in your throat.
If you have the flu, it can cut up your throat if you throw it up, im not exactly sure how but i've heard of it. People dying from it.
It depends in what you are sick.for an example milk is good when you are suffering from gastritis or hart burn. but milk does not help to cure you rapidly when you have a cold.
It increases mucous production in many people (not everyone). So does orange juice.
What, sick with a cold or flu? No. It does not increase mucus production, if that's what you've heard.
