Dont put washclothes or towels with water in them on it it just makes them sting burn and hurt. Use thin things such as gauze

Buy some Aftersun cream/spray. u should be able to get them at a supermarket or pharmacy. spray/rub some on and almost immediately your skin cools and the sunburn begins to go away.

You could hold ice or a cold damp cloth against it.
If you want to go out and buy something, look for Aloe Vera gel/lotion or a spray-on treatment called Solarcane.

Try taking a bath in milk maybe that will help. =)
