Metabolism and recreational stimulant drugs?!

I hear that stimulants like amphetamine and methamphetamine speed up your metabolism.

So then what kind of different side effects can somebody that already has a high metabolism get that are different than somebodys with a regular metabolism?

Is this type of person more likely to get rhabdomyolysis?
