prune juice is not a laxative in the slightest. it has a lot of fiber, which helps you go, among a plethora of other beneficial things. you can and should get fiber from fruits and veggies too.
if you want to loose weight by fiber-enriched foods, eat some fruit in the morning with breakfast and some veggies during your other meals. snack on fruits and veggies, etc. it's not wrong to rely on prune juice. but eating a variety gives other benefits too.

i have a feeling that you are either young or uneducated because you are unclear as to what constitutes and eating disorder. you have the opportunity to become more educated about healthy things that will benefit your body, not only by slimming it, but also by increasing its longevity, increasing your life-span, decreasing risk of cancer, decreasing risk of heart-attack, etc.

for example, your brain is 70% water and the stuff that's not water is 60% fat. there are unhealthy fats you want to stay away from, but then there are healthy fats that your body NEEDS. these are polyunsaturated fats. if you eat a handful of walnuts or unsalted, raw sunflower seeds each day, you'll be getting the polyunsaturated fats. you'll also be getting a decreased risk of alzheimer's, decreased risk of heart problems, better circulation, better skin, better everything, including an increased amount of fiber.

what i'm trying to show by that example is that you need to dig deeper than what you've learned from media and other sources bent on getting money from your wallet. do some research. here is a website to get you started:

and remember: losing more than 2 - 3 pounds per week gives an increased chance of gaining the weight back.
