If you're having an emergency, go to a hospital. Delaying treatment to ask questions on yahoo answers is several kinds of stupid.

excellent. that's conventional medicine's appropriate and legitimate scope of practice. fixing broken bones, suturing lacerations, etc., instead of spending most of their time trying to cover up symptoms of disease while making more problems and naturally failing to get sick well. correcting the cause of disease is beyond their training, and should be left to those who specialize in it.
