Am I wrong for telling my boss I can not fill in for someone because i am sick w!

Question: Am I wrong for telling my boss I can not fill in for someone because i am sick with an inner ear infection ?
I get called into work when I have Saturdays or Sundays off almost all the time Especially when a particular employee is scheduled to work; it is 99.9% certain. I have gone in and cancelled plans over & over since I started the job 4 1/2 months ago. This time I AM feeling miserable and sick and was called 3x since yesterday. I still feel guilty because I said "No" but I Was the only person that returned my bosses calls, being responsible and not considered a No Call No Show (I didnt even know that and just wanted to do the right thing) I would like other people's opinion on this.

Time to say you are now unavailable on weekends. Get used to saying NO and stop feeling guilty..they don't feel any guilt when they call you in on your weekend off. Oh and next weekend do something different for a change..look in the paper for another job.

If you're not being paid to be on-call then you shouldn't answer your phone, just use voicemail as a call screening thing.
