How does the euthanaziation of a patient take place?!

Question: How does the euthanaziation of a patient take place?
I'm going to try and be as specific as possible:
- The patient has already met the circumstances necessary for euthanasia to take place.
- The patient is now sitting in the area where the euthanasia will take place.
- An Anesthetic is administered to the patient.

I want to know where the euthanasia takes place, what anesthetics are administered, and what medicines are used to kill the patient.

It's illegal for Doctors to euthanize people in the U.S.
But I worked for a vet! It's simple, & this is what goes down;
-the animal is subdued with an anesthetic, in the O.R. or Check-up room
-Once the anesthetic has clearly set into the animal, the drugs for euthanization are administered by the Vet.
-The body is disposed of properly, or given to the owner
(I'm not sure of the names of the anesthetic, or euthanasia)

Not sure if this is of any help whatsoever.
Thought I'd try, though!

I worked for a Veterianrian.

First a sleep inducing agent is given, usually a barbituate, and then potassium chloride is used to stop the heart.

They don't kill patients. They kill prisoners on death roll.
