Acupuncture just had it today..?!

Not sure what to think. The lady never checked my pulse, just told me to tell her where the sensitive spots were as she massaged my upper neck and she poked me with an acupuncture needle and shocked me with the machine. It didnt hurt just was strong. Um, poked 2 needles in my hands, 1 in each foot, and that was it.. She didn't check my tongue either, or really go over my medical history other than telling her i hurt all over. I don't really feel any of a difference to be honest? Not sure if thats the way it was supposed to be, but i was there a total of an hour my first visit. I'm confused?
