Is Extra Neutral Alcohol a poison?!

Question: Is Extra Neutral Alcohol a poison?
Is it ethyl alcohol or something else. If it is a poison ,why it is used for Homeopthic Dilutions?

Answers:

Of course it's a poison. I'm not really sure as to why you would think it wasn't a poison.

It's used because it's rubbish. Infact the stuff called Extra Neutral Alcohol has exactly the same contents as something like Everclear. Surely there must be more to it than just a neutral spirit at the azeotropic limit. Well you'd think so. It's just distilled wash, no more no less. You can get the stuff from and good artisan distiller or good shop.

Dilutions? I'd use it to add a bit of kick to a fruit juice, dilute at 5:1 for quite a strong alcoholic drink. I've had the stuff neat it just makes you feel like throwing up no matter how little you have. It's a thing you do the first time you goto Hyder in Alaska you get a certificate for drinking a shot of the stuff. It's not worth it except to do as a one off.
