a question about Extenze..?!

Question: A question about Extenze..?
Considering it has Yohimbe in it, that would be bad to take if you have anxiety/panic attacks wouldn't it?

i don't care if the pill works, it would just mean free sex if i did take it. so that explains that.

but my anxiety is pretty bad and i don't think i want to freak out because yohimbe and anxiety = bad.

thoughts?

Answers:

Yohimbe itself doesn't cause any problems with anxiety directly... but as I mentioned, it may cause an elevation in blood pressure and heart rate. It doesn't do it for everyone, but it can.
The problem that I'm seeing here is that if you have bad anxiety and you're nervous about it, that alone may be enough to cause a problem for you regardless of what the Yohimbe itself would do.

I understand that you really want sex, but you may not even be able to have sex if you have a panic attack in the middle of it. Aside from the morality of it, you can find other girls if you just want a one-night stand... you can get more information about that (how to do it, what's best, etc) if you ask in the "singles and dating" section in the Family & Relationships category. It's up to you if you like this girl enough to chance it or if you can work extra hard to calm yourself down before and while taking it. Good luck and I hope I helped!

Health/nutrition classes, personal experience, and personal research in my role as a Product Specialist for a vitamin company

What I'm reading would suggest just the opposite: "Research from the Neuropsychiatric Institute at UCLA demonstrates the potential of a substance found in yohimbe tree bark to assist in the recovery from anxiety disorders."
