Are these natural things you can eat/drink to help Epilepsy or are they types of!

Question: Are these natural things you can eat/drink to help Epilepsy or are they types of meds?
Are these things that are in foods/drinks/ or that you can take naruturally as needed or are they perscriptions? If they can be found in foods/drinks can you please name some?
If you are already suffering from epilepsy and scouting for a treatment for seizures then you are in luck. Epilepsy has been around for hundreds of years so many herbs have been found to help persons who are suffering from it. Passiflora and scullcap can be helpful because of their capacity to support the nervous system and keep the levels of brain stimulation even. Cuprum Metallicum and Cicuta Verosa are also effective when dealing with epilepsy. Be sure that you have a talk with your local Naturopath or Homeopath to determine a treatment plan that will work for you!

Answers:

The thing to keep in mind with every health problem, including neurological disorders is that although conventional medicine wants to treat everyone with the same symptoms with the same drugs (it's easier for them, not you) the etiology of the problem and the nature of the patient make this a lousy paradigm. Homeopathy is always much more successful because it treats the whole person as an individual. People should keep in mind that the 2 remedies you mentioned may not be the right ones for them.
"Epilepsy" is just a name. People who take prescription drugs are not guaranteed a good outcome, the drugs are not 100% guaranteed to elminate seizures or further neurological damage caused by the drugs. Many people have been helped immensely by holistic treatments (including Acupuncture) that have allowed them to wean off medications or drastically reduce the amount necessary.

No, there are no "natural" cures or treatments for epilepsy. Homopathy is nothing but placebo water and scam artists, so it fails hard as always.

Epilepsy can only be effectively treated by modern medicine.
