Do I have Asperger's Syndrome?!
Question: Do I have Asperger's Syndrome?
I was reading about Asperger's syndrome for quite a while and I think I have it. From the 2 tests I've done, the results I've got implied I have it.
Now, I would believe I have it but I know how this autism form seems "popular" to many people so they want to have it. I honestly, would like to have it too, but thinking that I have it makes me think that I, wanting to have it, am kind of imagining.
Well, here are the reasons I think I have asperger's:
1. I don't like changes at all, in any way.
2. I tend not to be in social situations, I just don't like them.
3. Too much anything makes me anxious (Light, People, Sound)
4. If I am looking to a stranger in eyes, It's ok, but if he looks back, I have to turn my head somewhere else, don't know why.
5. I have many different interests than my peers.
6. I have bad motor skills when it comes to writing, sewing and such.
7. Don't like meeting new people.]
8. I always plan my activities in my head before doing something. I hate doing things spontaneously.
9. I often daydream, and am lost in thoughts.
etc....
So, what do you think?

Answers:
you may think you do but you will not know for sure until you get a proper diagnosis from a doctor or a psychologist. it has been a long time since i was diagnosed so i don't know what the current procedures are. you will have to research how to get a diagnosis.
i was diagnosed with aspergers in 1995 aged 4
The only way to really know is let a Psychologist decide. They are certified in what they do and can also determine if any other underlying problems might exist if you have Asperger's.
