Answers:

If that was all you were taking then you would not have damaged your brain or anything else for that matter. That is not abusing them and that dosage taken that far apart would not affect you. Allot of people get depressed and they have no idea why. There is allot of stress and pressure on teens these days as well as adults. I take depression medicine and it helped me tremendously. Depression is a disease and it is nothing to be embarrassed about. The key thing is to go get help. Millions of people of every age suffer from depression. It will not go away on its own. You don't have to suffer with it. You just need to see a psychiatrist and they will ask you some questions to get an idea of what may be causing it. As I said earlier, depression is a disease and can just be a imbalance of chemicals in the brain. There is allot of medication out there that can help with that.

You're fine. You will be fine. The opiates in the Vicodin were stimulating dopamine levels in your brain. They take some time to re-regulate themselves. But no, you did not damage your brain, and if you were taking them according to doctor's orders, then that's not abuse. The re-regulation of dopamine levels takes some time, but you are going to be fine, as I said. Not to worry brother.
