Thiamin in my MultiVitamin- Which is better?!

Question: Thiamin in my MultiVitamin- Which is better?
My old multivitamin's thiamin came in the form of "Thiamin HCI", my new multivitamins thiamin is in the form of "mononitrate".

What's the difference?

Answers:

Natural vitamin B1, also called thiamine, is sourced from yeast, wheat grass, wheat germ, beans and blackstrap molasses. The label will state the source of vitamin B1 (thiamine) as one of these natural foods. The synthetic version of vitamin B1 (thiamine) normally contains thiamine mononitrate and thiamine hydrochloride (HCI). Synthetic thiamin is a made from Grewe diamine (a coal tar derivative) processed with the ammonia and other chemicals.
