Question: Pterygium right eye (people who have or had a pterygium answer)?

What is a good home remedy for a pterygium? Most people say surgery is the only way but I think it's pointless since all it does is grow back much faster. I know there is something that takes care of it.

I have had Pterygiuim in both eyes.
There isn't a home remedy. You can use moisturizing eye drops for when your eyes get red or dry pr sore. And wear sunglasses ANYtime you are even somewhat in the sun (to keep it from getting worse). Buts thats about it, it doesn't decrease the pterygium at all.

Surgery isn't pointless. and it does NOT make it grow back faster. The surgery my Dr did only has a 2% regrowth rate....it was the suture-less kind, I can get more info on it, if you like.

I had the one in my right eye removed 2 and a half years ago, and it hasn't come back at all!!!

Look into surgery, really! =)
