The answer to your question depends on the sex and age of the subject. Sounds that some young women find highly distracting would not even be heard by some 40-50 yo men,
I tend to class all subliminal efforts as ineffective. and a total waste of time. The music the message is embedded in is more effective than the message under best circumstances.
There are several methods of induction that require no words at all and can be very fast. 2-3 seconds!
If you are going to use this yourself there are better ways to do it
The Erickson institute made a series of poly voice tapes . There are three voices 1 in each ear and1 in both ears. They are only slightly less effective than a thermo nuclear device.
they must be listened to with good stereo earphones not the ear buds. I have yet to meet a person where these tapes do not work . Each of the voices is doing an induction, each a little different but all the same as far as tempo,timing and content. The tape" a journey to the center of time" is a personal favorite.
