Is a colon cleanse considered as natural remedies or medical remedies?

This term is used in Natural and Medical professions. Most of the time a colon cleanse is prescribed prior to a colonoscopy. It is prescribed by Herbalist if the system is acting sluggish and bowels are not regular, energy is minimal and stomach problems persist, however they also give something for the systems support to replace good nutrients and keep it hydrated. As an herbalist, I recommend this only if those conditions present themselves or as a regular routine, twice per year, usually winter and summer or spring and fall. Think about it, your eating habits in the summer are very different than those in the winter and so on and so on.
