Is colloidal silver effective in canning and long term food storage ?!

Question:

Is colloidal silver effective in canning and long term food storage ?

Someone said NOT to refrigerate it. WHY ?

Does heating it in food destroy its value ?

Answers:

You must NOT refrigerate colloidal silver. NEVER EVER. It is even written on the bottle or certainly on some bottles.

The reason is that at refrigeration temperatures the tiny nanometer size silver particles will aggregate to form clusters of larger particles and they will not be absorbed anywhere near as well as the room temperature stored colloidal silver. Before using colloidal silver you must give the bottle a good shake as the shaking action may help to reverse any aggregation that may have occurred during storage. The shake before use message is also written on the bottle or certainly on some bottles.

Colloidal silver is intended to be used within a short time if it is added to drinking water and is not intended to be used in canning and long term food storage as reactions may occur that form silver compounds that are much less effective than metallic silver particles. Heating it in food would have the same problem of reactions to form silver compounds that are much less effective than metallic silver particles.

Colloidal silver must NEVER be contaminated by other materials including food or tap water or saliva so NEVER take any colloidal silver with your mouth on the bottle. Always pour some on a teaspoon or a tablespoon and take it that way. For best absorption you could swirl it around in your mouth for 30 seconds before you actually swallow it.
