Acidophilis are the friendly bactieria that live in the intestinal tract. They keep the balance. If your child had antibiotics recently and is having an issue, the acidophilis will help restore that balance. Antibiotics do nto know the difference between the good bugs and bad bugs in the intestine, so they go after them all, and that can cause Diarreah. It is like eating 20 cans of yogurt but without the yogurt. I bet it works fine. If your child is on an anti biotic, give them the acidophilis between antibiotic doses. Stagger them. Good luck!
