RA is an auto immune disorder. Which is typically caused by a what is called a leaky gut. Drugs such as antibiotics, birth control pills, and cortisone (sp?) PROMOTE leaky gut!
Those drugs and others allow yeast to flourish and sprout roots, poking holes in your intestinal wall...or "leaky gut."
This allows food particles to pass through including proteins. Your immune system thinks the food particles are parasites, so it attacks the food particle.
After a while, your over stimulated immune system goes bonkers and starts to attack tissues in your body. In your case, it has focused on your joints.
So when the doctor prescribes corticosteroids for RA they are unwittingly promoting it.
To fix leaky gut, you need to do at least three things.
1- Take either olive leaf extract for a few months or Candistroy for a month or two.
2- Take PB-8 or another excellent probiotic. Avoid cheap products.
3- Take Glutamine or IntestiNew.
4- Take 4,000 to 6,000 mg of fish oil daily. This will help to correct the imbalanced metabolism and reduce inflammation.
Get enteric coated to prevent burping. Or emulsified fish oil.
Also AVOID antibiotics, steroids, and birth control pills.
