I am thinking of making an appointment to see a chiropractor?

My right side of my neck has been hurting me for a month. It''s in a small place that hurts but still it hurts. I don't have a stiff neck. It's just annoying because it's such a small place but it hurts. I am thinking of seeing a chirpractor but I am unsure? Should I go see a chiropracor or what? What are chiropractor's like? What is your experience going to a chiropractor?

I saw a chirprator once for shoulder pain. His assistant applied a small electric current to my shoulder for pain. It worked. The chiropractor then cracked my back which I hated and I never went back.
