Insomia relief withought pills/medication?!

Question:

Insomia relief withought pills/medication?

I've been taking Melatonin for the past couple of night, but besides the fact that it doesn't help that much anymore (it used to work perfectly) I got kind of used to sleeping over with my boyfriend, but I don't want to be dependant on that or medication, so I would like to know some ways of helping me fall asleep.

Please be helpful, and don't say something like "Lower your stress level" because if I could, then I would.

This is a process, but it works! The first rule is to only go to bed when you are exhausted to start with _ no naps during the day! The only time you can be in bed is to have sex and sleep - nothing else. No reading, watching t.v. etc . . . you have to train yourself to make the association of bed with sleep. If you can't fall asleep, get up and do something quiet and non-stimulating - no caffeine in the evening. Eventually this does work, but it does take a little time.
