How can you tell the diffrence between weed and dirt without smoking?!

How can you tell the diffrence between weed and dirt without smoking?

I got ripped off by the guy who sells me pot as i don't get high.I think it is dirt or something.New to this ****....any ideas to tell the difference without smoking because i know only one drug peddler???

Look in the weed you get it should mostly be green, possibly a little bit of white or brown. if all brown its dirt.
if you mean dirt weed then smell it, weed smells strong if its bad and good, but good bud will smell extremely strong.
maybe your bud is good but you aren't smoking properly,: your joints could be loose, you may not be using enough(0.5 grams is enough to get high), or your probably not inhailing
when you inhale take a deep breath once you have the smoke in your mouth, or hold joint away from face in between thumb and index fingers and suck this works well.
Also when you get your weed go to someone you know that smokes weed and ask him if it is weed and/or if its good weed.
try to keep the smoke in your throat once you inhailed by holding your breath. once you feel your throat burn that's good you need to release your breath to let smoke out. you dont want to get to the coughing point because if you cough you dont increase the amount of time you can hold your smoke so make sure you release just before cough so time in your throat can increase over time
